INVITATION TO BID The Conemaugh Valley School District, 1340 William Penn Avenue, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, 15906, will receive sealed bids, appropriately identified, for the following: Gymnasium Entrance Replacement for Conemaugh Valley Junior/Senior High School 1342 William Penn Avenue Johnstown, PA 15906 until 2:00 P.M., on Thursday, 07 June 2018, in the District Administration Building Offices within Conemaugh Valley Elementary School at the same address. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. Each bid shall be made upon the form provided by the Architect/Engineer and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent of the proposed contract amount. No bid may be withdrawn after bids are opened for the period of time stated on the bid form. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities in the bid. Bid Documents may be obtained from Accu-Copy Reprographics, 302 Thomson Park Drive, Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania 16066, 724-935-7055. A refundable deposit of $75.00 per set, for a maximum of two sets, is required, and must be in the form of a corporate, or business check made payable to the ÒConemaugh Valley School DistrictÓ, which shall be sent to the printer. Quantities over two sets must be purchased directly from the printer. This Project has the following separate Prime Construction Contracts / Scope of Work. General Construction Ð Aluminum Entrances, Door Hardware, Exterior Concrete Work; possible minor Asbestos Abatement to be subcontracted by GC. Electrical Construction Ð Extension of existing Access Control System and related minor electrical power / data. Deposits will be refunded if (1) a bid is tendered, or the intent to withdraw is given at least 48 hours prior to bid opening; and (2) if complete sets of Bid Documents (including addenda) are returned to the printer (at the above address), in good (reusable) condition, within fourteen calendar days after bids are opened, or as directed by the Architect/Engineer. Bidders are encouraged to visit the project site and examine the areas involved.
